Oregon Tuggers: Wisconsin


The Oregon Tug of War was founded in 1970 in Oregon Wisconsin. In the early years of the club the men competed in the BlackHawk Tug of War league. In 1977 the club included a woman’s team. The club competed in the Wisconsin State Championships winning many state titles. The club was one of the first clubs to join USATOWA in 1978. The club has won many National titles and competed in all USATOWA Nationals since 1980. The women were selected to compete in the 1993 World Games, winning a bronze medal in the indoor discipline. The women have medaled while competing in the World Championships several times. The team has traveled around the World and met many great people who later became good friends.
